How to get the most out of your DTF transfer sheets
If the transfer doesn't adhere properly to the garment, you can reapply it without worry. Multiple attempts won't damage the transfer.
When working with a 50/50 blend fabric, follow the Polyester instructions instead of Cotton. The lower temperature helps prevent scorching.
To enhance the durability of your design after washing, consider increasing the finishing time, temperature, and pressure during the heat press process.
Avoid placing the transfer near seams, collars, or pockets, as these areas may have uneven pressure. You can use a heat pillow underneath the fabric to address this issue.
Prior to pressing, always preheat polyester and nylon fabrics for 10 seconds. This helps prevent shrinkage and promotes better adhesion.
Ensure the transfer media is centered on the heat press for accurate results.
Opt for fabrics that are less stretchy (avoid Lycra or Spandex) to prevent the design from cracking when the fabric is stretched.
These revised instructions provide clarity and guidance for using a heat press effectively
